Oh the life of a woman. Sometimes, it feels as if we’re stuck in a revolving door. As business people, moms, daughters, sisters and wives, our lives are so busy, they’re just spinning. Endlessly. To break from the craziness, we’ve got a new spin on vacations. These days, they’re no longer luxuries. They’re actually essential to our sanity. And of course, there’s no better way to rejuvenate and recharge than to sneak a few days away with our best gal pals on a girls getaway.
When planning a girls trip, there are always a few key requirements. They’re pretty obvious when you think about it. We need everything we can get to feel fantastic: beautiful spa facilities, a thriving food and wine scene, some shopping options, unique fitness offerings such as yoga classes on the beach, and of course, sun. If you’re not doing the quick and dirty NYC or Las Vegas style shop trip, and want to head down south instead, here are a few fantastic destinations that make for the ideal 3-4 day girls getaway.
