We’re used to it already. No matter what time of year it is, we’ve got to put with the inevitable bad hair days, and the humidity doesn’t help. OUR 3 TOP DIY HAIRDRESSER HACKS FOR SUMMER HAIR
PROBLEM: Diffusers are big, bulky and easy to forget when travelling. If you arrive at your destination diffuser-less and the weather has your curls going haywire, there is hope for you yet.
FIX: All you have to do is this: Cover your hair dryer nozzle with a stocking and secure it with an elastic.
RESULT: This magic trick slows down the air and acts like a diffuser. Then, all you have to do to set the style is use an anti-humidity spray.
TRY: Pantene Pro-V Stylers Anti-Humidity Maximum Hold Hairspray for a polished look.
PROBLEM: You need serious hold, but hate when your hair feels stiff and crunchy. Because ew, right? If you want your hair to feel touchable and soft and still stay in its place, you need to get creative.
FIX: Combine one part conditioner with two parts gel, and PRESTO.
TRY: Pantene Expert Dry Defy Conditioner with two parts Pantene Pro-V Maximum Hold Gel and you won’t believe how the mix tames your hair with softness.
RESULT: What you’ll end up with is the perfect amount of hold with none of the crunch. It works like a dream.
PROBLEM: Static is one of the problems that feels like it just won’t go away because it won’t.
FIX: The best way to beat static is to to add moisture and smoothness back into hair. If you’re in a pinch and don’t have any product on hand, there is another hack you’ve probably never heard. To eliminate unwanted hair static, just run a metal coat hanger over your hair. It works!
TRY: Apply a few pumps of Pantene Dry Defy Velvet Crème Infusion and you’ll get your sanity back. We promise.
