It’s a fact of life. Whether we’d like to admit it or not, we’ve all got hair cropping up in spots it really shouldn’t be. And unless we’re living in a groovy commune sipping sprouted coffee (is that a thing?), we want it gone. Now. Shaving does the trick and it’s simple and convenient. But the hair grows back faster than we can smooth on our self-tanner. And anyway, we want to enjoy our summer at the pool or beach, not spend all our time preparing for it. Which is precisely why we wax. Of course, no woman would say no to pampering at the beauty parlor, but salon waxing gets pricey, especially if you’ve got what your esthetician calls persistent hair. (You know, the stubborn kind that just won’t listen.) Plus, those visits take way too much planning: Let the hair grow, make an appointment, get there, get home. Before you know it, your day is done.
Ever tried home waxing? We have, and it makes a lot of sense. Especially when it’s with Nair’s brand new Argan Oil Cire Divine with Bye Bye Ouch. The Pro-Sensitive complex in it makes the wax stick more to hair than skin, which drastically reduces the pain we usually associate with waxing. Plus, the formula is enriched with Argan Oil and orange blossom, both of which are known for their moisturizing and nourishing qualities.
The result? Just what we want, just in time for bikini season: smooth, hair-free skin for up to 4 weeks.
Suitable for all skin types, Nair Cire Divine is dermatologist tested and paraben-free. It’ll even grip hair as short as 2 mm, removing the follicle straight from the root.
We gave this product a test drive to see if it’s as easy and effective as it seems. And it is!
HOW TO USE NAIR CIRE DIVINE WAX
We followed the directions exactly. We microwaved for 2 minutes and then let the product sit for 3. It wasn’t soft enough, so we popped it back in for some seconds. Then, we were ready. We cleaned and dried the area we wanted to wax, and had everything at the ready, including the little after-waxing wipes that come in the box. We gave the wax another stir then grabbed about 2 teaspoons of wax on the paddle. Then, we smoothed it onto our hairy legs! It wasn’t too hot, smelled great, and had a lovely satiny texture. We did our best to spread on a thin layer, but it came out too thick, so we tried again. By try two, we had it down. Just like the instructions said, we left a lip at the end for pulling. Then, we waited. After a couple of minutes, the wax had cooled and dried. You know it’s ready when the stickiness is gone. We just grabbed and pulled, and off it came, easy peasy. It didn’t hurt at all! And the waxed area was hair-free. Like magic. We’ll definitely use Nair Argan Cire Divine again. And we think you should, too.
