I must confess. I LOVE balls. I am on a major ball consumption kick. In case you’re blushing, I’m talking the healthy cookie kind, the ones you’ll try and won’t want to live without. These protein balls are a magical invention. They will satisfy every sweet craving while fuelling up your body and without adding to your waistline. Plus, they take only 10 minutes to make and you don’t even have to bake them. Sound too good to be true? Read on.
Like most of us, I crave a mid-afternoon pick-me-up or and an after-dinner sweet treat every day without fail. And yet, I am also a food conscious, nutrition-savvy, gym rat and all-round healthy living guru. So while I’m indulging my sweet tooth, I’m not letting all my hard work go to waste with one Starbucks cookie that gives my body nothing but a sugar buzz and extra flab, not to mention a blood sugar crash.
So here I am—compelled to share my love for balls and my most fave recipe in the hope that you will also become a protein ball lover, too. Time is valuable, friends, and so are our behinds.

WHAT YOU DO
- Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix with a big old spoon (or if you’re in a rush, go ahead and use a mixer).
- Slowly add water and BA-BAM you are done. It’s that easy.
- Shape into balls, place them on a waxed paper baking sheet, and let cool in the fridge for a couple hours.
- Store in an air tight container.
